Mimes often get a bad rap, thanks to too many street performers who haven’t quite mastered the art. There are mimes, however, and then there are Mimes, and Marcel Marceau definitely falls into the latter category. Just think of him as the guy who more or less introduced American audiences to the art of the mime and who, for 50 years now, has been amazing audiences around the world. The American Repertory Theatre welcomes him for a month-long engagement.
