After a series of strong, focused exhibitions, Eastlink gallery stages a general display of artworks from three distinctive contemporary artists who are producing some of the more interesting art currently going about. Qin Yi Feng’s abstract patterns of linear colour are reminiscent of tartan fabric, while He Sai Bang’s austere still-life drawings and Ji Da Chun’s idiosyncratic paintings have both previously been the subject of solo exhibitions at the gallery. In the wake of China’s art boom, the question now is who can make it through the final sifting.
