This wide-ranging exhibition at the House of World Cultures focuses on avant-garde art from South East Asia. On show are photographs, video, documentaries and digital art works by more than 30 artists from China, Japan, Korea and Taiwan. The works aim to reflect the ‘radical changes’ that have taken place in these societies since WW2. They also offer an insight into topics such as gender, politics, social conditioning and the influence of religion.
